■概要：
DC power distribution and DC microgrid are considered to integrate renewable generations, such as, wind and PV, due to its advantages of higher efficiency, and lower cost. This lecture will first introduce the background, and the advantages of DC power distribution networks. Then, typical DC power distribution projects both in China and all around the world will be illustrated. Moreover, typical DC microgrids, such as DC home, DC ship, and DC aircraft will also be introduced. After that, the Key technologies to realize DC power distribution, including DC circuit breakers, DC microgrid protections and control, et al, will be given.

福岡大学では、主催として遠隔授業による英語の講義は初めての取り組みであった。九州大学から2名、福岡工業大学から4名、福岡大学からは17名の少人数の講義であった。講師は、中国西北工業大学から来られたWeilin Li 准教授である。船や飛行機などを構成するマイクログリッド電力網の構成について、DC送電が有利であるとの観点から講義が行われた。学生にはなじみのない分野であったため、やや理解に苦しんでいる様子であった。講義の最後には、下記のような質疑が行われた。
質問事項
・火力発電は、新エネルギーによる発電にとって代わるのか。
・AC送電がDC送電にすべて切り替わることがあり得るのか。
・中国のDC送電の取り組みについて
