【概要】
The objective of general planning is to adequately meet the demand for electrical power at the minimum cost subject to a set of financial, resource, technical, environmental and political constrains.
I illustrate by the lecture based on the next viewpoint. ①The major energy policies implemented in Malaysia, ②The National Energy Policy has 3 main objectives, ③Energy Options for Power Sector, ④Future Options and Strategy .

エネルギー資源が豊かで近年急速に経済的発展を遂げているマレーシアの電力政策について、その特徴と課題を分かり易く説明された。更に、国営石油会社ペトロナスが出資するペトロナス工科大学についても紹介があった。講師の英語は非常に聞き取りやすく、内容を理解できた生徒が多かった。学生からの質問としては、今後の電力計画、特に原子力と自然エネルギーの活用について質問があがった。また、ASEAN 地域を包括する大規模送電線網の構築計画についても関心が集まった。
