Large scale storage of electricity is a vital requirement for the realization of a carbon-neutral electricity grid. This talk provides two approaches towards the integrated solar energy conversion and storage systems in order to increase the efficiency and reduce the utilization cost of solar energy.

学生からの質問として、Dr.Ali氏が考案した色素増感太陽電池(DSSC: dye-sensitized solar cell)/レドックスフロー電池ハイブリッドシステムの高電圧化や容量／エネルギー密度増大に関する内容があり、講師はホワイトボードを使いながら、丁寧に説明されていた。講演終了後にも、時間内に質問できなかったことを講師に聞く姿もあり、講師も非常に熱心に対応していただいた。
