■概要:The development of inexpensive, active and durable catalysts for the reduction of oxygen in direct methanol fuel cells and the reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2) in closed electrochemical systems to form valuable products have received considerable attention. However, achieving efficient mass transport toward the nano-interfaces and minimizing the CO and methanol poisoning at the catalyst surface are challenging tasks in the oxygen reduction reaction. High products selectivity and high Faradaic efficiency are challenging and difficult tasks to be achieved in the reduction of CO2. Over the years, we have prepared several non-precious catalysts by using simple and sustainable wet chemistry approaches. In this lecture, I intend to discuss the physicochemical properties and catalytic activity of some active and durable non-precious catalysts delivering promising electrocatalytic activity towards the reduction of oxygen and CO2. The strategies to control the density of active sites, defects, and functional groups, as well as hetero atoms doping levels in the catalysts to enhance their activity will be emphasized. The potential of nanocatalysts in the design and development of advanced energy devices will be summarized at the end.
