■概要: Energy transition is now on track to provide carbon free solutions for every aspects of our life: housing, food, transport, etc. Among these transformations, aviation decarbonization is a huge challenge, as it concerns a mean of transportation that cannot be connected to the electrical grid, requires large amount of energy and demands very high energy density systems.
The aim of this presentation is in a first time to provide an overview and forecast of aviation emissions, CO2 reduction strategies, and associated technologies roadmap. This first chapter will conclude with the electric phenomena that constitute the main risks for the electrification of aviation.
The second part focuses on one of these phenomena: partial discharges. This low energy, difficult to detect, but highly detrimental phenomenon will be introduced from a physical point of view and from a numerical point of view on how to predict its inception.
In the last part of the lecture, a methodology to design partial discharge free systems will be described from the analysis of the system, electrical insulation system selection aided with numerical tools, and experimental characterization, to the consideration of aging.

■学生の関わり様:本講演では,航空機の電動化に関する研究プロジェクトの意義と全般に始まり,その際の電気的特性および絶縁現象の重要な鍵となる部分放電について詳細に説明された。後半では,部分放電レスな絶縁設計について,現時点での適用可能性が説明された。今後の航空機電動化への絶縁設計の指針について理解できた。講義後にはたくさんの質問があり,丁寧に答えて頂いた。
